English Setters are bird hunting Field
Setters. We strive to keep the best
possible breeding
combinations for confirmation, temperament and color. We have combined
the
Llewellyn English Setter with the old "type" Ryman English Setter which
produces beautiful strong boned, beautiful heads and exceptionally
hardy offspring. There is
no
background history of hip displaysia, eye or hearing problems in the
last 50
years Which means thousands of English Setters. Our
Setters
are part of our family and are kept "in house" and get allot of
one-on-one and also are handled with TLC (Tender Loving Care) from Day
One.
Puppies are always whelped in our home and we are as involved with the whelping as the Dam and the Sire.
Wilson Setters are registered with the FDSB (Field Dog Stud Book) and can also be registered with AKC (American Kennel Club) under "Open Registration."
Our Setters have champion bloodlines that includes the "Hall of Famer" Bozann's Mosley" and Bondue to mention a couple.
We breed English Setters so we can be assured of their care, quality of breedings and for the best possible puppies. We do not breed any other breed of dog so we can keep our full focus on one breed.
We expose our puppies to many different noises and environments so they will make excellent hunters, companion or family dogs. They will have age appropriate shots, worming's, Vet visits and be micro-chipped or tattooed before they leave our home. When our puppies do leave, they are well on their way towards being paper trained or housebroken for their age bracket and bird hunting prospects. They will be eating regular food and will be leash broke. They'll also have a collar, leash and a sample of their dog food. A copy of their 5 generation pedigree, papers to register your pup with American Field (FDSB) and papers to send in to "Home Again" for their micro-chip or registration papers for the tattoo. Also included is a health guarantee, a sales receipt and a contract. Our price for a puppy is $650.00, (this does not include shipping) with an easy payment plan. We do not require a statement or proof of a spay or neuter but we do advise it. If for some reason you can no longer keep your English Setter, we will happily take him or her back.
Remember a puppy is a 10 to a possible 15 year commitment for you and your family. We prefer to place our dogs or pups in a family environment. We love our dogs and want the best for them and hope to have all our babies go to "forever homes."

We also can ship your pup to you for an additional $300
(or you are welcome to make your own shipping arrangements at the your expense).
Which includes another vet visit, stool sample, health certificate,
dog kennel, stickers for the kennel, gas to the airport and back and parking fee's.
Pups can be shipped from Bangor, Maine via Northwest, Delta or Continental Airlines.

We usually have a waiting list. We will have 2 litters this year.
If you would like to be put on our waiting list or put a $100 non-refundable deposit down
(certain conditions apply for a refund of deposit ) on a pup from our next litter, contact us by phone or email.
We will have Orange Belton's and possibly Tri-colors this year.
